Business Challenge
Roofing is one of the most competitive local-SEO niches in the USA. Rather than asking roofers to take our word for it, we applied our full roofing SEO methodology to our own website and let Google's data judge it. Transparency note: these are our own site's rankings — not a roofing client's. When our first roofing client campaign matures, its data will be published the same way.
Starting Situation
As of early 2026, softologics.pro had no roofing content and zero visibility on roofing-related searches.
Strategy
Build a roofing topic cluster the way we would for a client: one commercial pillar page, deep buyer-intent guides answering what homeowners actually search (cost, insurance, storm damage), one city-specific landing page for a hail-belt market, and FAQ structured data throughout — then route internal links from the homepage to the cluster.
Implementation
Wrote and published the cluster on softologics.pro: 'SEO for Roofing Companies — The Complete USA Guide' (2,000+ word pillar), 'How Much Does a Roof Replacement Cost in the USA?' (buyer-intent pricing guide with cost tables), 'How Roofers in Hail Alley Get More Storm Damage Leads' (storm-season playbook), a Lubbock TX roofing SEO landing page, and the commercial service page — all cross-linked, all with FAQ schema.
Timeline
Cluster published across June 2026. Measurable impressions on roofing keywords within weeks; the numbers below are from the Feb 25 – Jul 13, 2026 Search Console export.
Evidence
All figures from our own Google Search Console property (Queries and Pages reports, Web search, Feb 25 – Jul 13, 2026; exported Jul 15, 2026). Every article cited is live and readable on this website — judge the writing yourself.
Key Takeaway
The fastest way to evaluate an SEO agency is to look at what they rank for themselves. Our roofing cluster went from nonexistent to thousands of impressions on exactly the keywords roofers care about — using the same playbook we run for clients.
Results
- "roof replacement cost" — 2,507 Google impressions on our pricing guide (GSC, Feb–Jul 2026)
- "seo for roofing companies" — 1,275 impressions on a domain that had zero roofing visibility months earlier
- The roofing service page alone: 4,826 impressions; the cost guide: 7,292 impressions
- Honest caveat, on purpose: average positions are still page 3–5 — impressions prove topical relevance; the ranking climb is the authority-building phase we're in now
